Shelly's Food Faves was created by Michele Collett.   Michele has an extraordinary love for food which began when she was a little girl with her best friend who called her Shelly.   They would laugh and laugh over mozzarella sticks, taste test candy together, and lure each other to come over by saying  things like "My mom made linguine with white clam sauce!" and "We have wonton soup!"

Michele's love for food continued to grow.  When she went to college,  her nickname was Chicken Sandwich, and after she graduated, she had an Italian boyfriend whose mother loved her because she would have three helpings of pasta at dinner.  (It made her so happy. )

She was the friend who always knew where to find the best food and she was  known for calling out her faves.  If Michele said "This is a fave", her friends knew they better listen up.   She always wanted to be a food expert and bring her food faves to people but didn't know how.

It wasn't until she moved into an area of New York CIty which had  a shortage of restaurants and stores that it became clear.  She became  frustrated she couldn't get the food she wanted and realized others were too so she decided to bring the best of New York's food to the food desert that they were all living in!  And Shelly's Food Faves was born.  

Michele searches for the best food in New York, taste tests it all and then provides a rotating curated collection in micro markets.  Everything from dumplings to tamales!  And of course, it's all her faves.

Shelly's Food Faves provides micro markets filled with the best of New York's food to various locations such as office buildings, apartment buildings, schools, gyms, hospitals, hotels, dance studios, and retail stores.

Our micro markets offer a variety of items such as:  fresh prepared meals, healthy salads, snacks and drinks.   We can customize your markets with any items you want!
